Lutheran Family and Children's Services with our 25 licensed foster families are available to provide a loving caring foster home for children 0 to age 5.
All placements are voluntary (the birth parents maintain legal custody) either pre adoption or when a family is in crisis due to many different factors.
Emergency foster care can be provided for short term (a few days to a few weeks.).
You can visit your child or children while they are in care.
A social worker will be assigned to you to help you process what is in the best interest of your child or children. Also she will help you obtain services that you and your child are eligible for.
Another social worker will oversee and monitor the child or children while they are in foster care.
