4th Annual Summer Soiree Glamour Night
Lutheran Family & Children’s Services invites you to attend our 4th Annual Summer Soiree Glamour Night on Monday June 21, 2010 from 5:30-8:00 p.m. The event benefits Lutheran Family and Children’s Services and our work to support women and families experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. We also provide adoption and foster care services. The Soiree will be held at the Country Club of Missouri this year. We are asking select stores and business owners to participate in the evening. “Baby Bottle Boomerang Fund Drive"
Lutheran Family and Children's Services needs your help!! We are looking for clubs, church’s, classrooms, schools, family’s or anyone else that wants to help LFCS build and support families.
Baby Bottle Boomerang works like this. Empty baby bottles are provided by LFCS and individuals are asked to fill the bottles with loose change, bills and even checks. The filled bottles come back to LFCS like a boomerang to help the families and children we serve.

Trainings
Are you a health care provider that works with pregnant women?
Are you interested in learning more about adoption? LFCS is offering FREE one-day trainings to health care professionals on infant adoption! Understanding Infant Adoption is a federally funded training program designed to educate health care workers on how to present adoption as a positive option to pregnant women, as well as how to support women who are making adoption plans. Trainings are held throughout the state of Missouri and offer free CEU’s to nurses and social workers.
