2008 Helpimg Hands Auction Goes to the Ballyard!

The LFCS Helping Hands Auction is the largest fundraising of the year. The Redbird Club at Busch Stadium will be host to the 2008 event to be held on Saturday, September 13th. Over 450 guests are expected to help raise $300,000 in support of the many programs and services provided by LFCS to those in need throughout the state of Missouri.

Auction chairs, Karen and Kermit Starnes and Phyllis and Paul Witbrodt are pleased to announce our Honorary Co-Chairs for this year, Sandy and Mike Bertani. “Sandy and Mike have fostered 40 children through the LFCS foster care program and are the adoptive parents of three of their five children. Mike is Director of Stadium Operations for the St. Louis Cardinals are we are thrilled to have them on our team, said Kermit Starnes.

With hundreds of silent and live auction items there is sure to be something for everyone! This year promises all of the excitement and fellowship of previous years, with the thrill of baseball in the air. Join us as we celebrate God’s love through service to others.
