LFCS’ 5th Annual Mother's Day Brunch on Saturday, May 10, 2008. Bring your mother, grandmother, sister, or girlfriend and join us as we honor Mothers. This year's brunch will be held at The Upper Crust, 904 Elm Street. Registration is at 10:00 a.m. and brunch will be served at 10:30 a.m. Please consider bringing a children's book to support the Columbia Chamber of Commerce "Reading: It Begins with Me" Program.

Play on one of the top 10 golf courses in the nation on Monday, May 12, 2008, at Cape Girardeau’s 6th Annual Hope fore Families Golf Tournament held at Dalhousie Golf Club. Choose from a morning flight which begins at 8:00 a.m., with breakfast served at 7:00 a.m. or afternoon flight which tees off at 1:30 p.m., following lunch which begins at 11:30 a.m. The tournament is a 4-person scramble featuring awesome prizes, great food and lots a fun. Entry fees are $110 for the morning flight and $135 for the afternoon flight. Afternoon flights are filling up quickly. Please contact the office directly to register for afternoon flights. Proceeds from this event will support programs of the Southeast office, which serves over 20 counties. With the overwhelming past success of this tournament, you want to register early. Mark your calendar for the 7th Annual Hope fore Families Golf Tournament in St. Louis to benefit statewide programs of LFCS. The tournament will be held on Monday, May 19, 2008 at the beautiful and exclusive Sunset Country Club.

Thanks to your support, the Hope fore Families Golf Tournament is one of the premier golf tournaments in St. Louis. Along with an exciting day of golf you can enjoy the feeling of knowing you are helping those in need.
